Pygora Fleece

The idea of cross-breeding the Pygmy and Angora began on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. The idea of crossing the goats was to get the fineness of the pygmy with the length and shine of the Angora

By 1986, fleeces were often 5 inches long, had nice crimp and appeared in pure white, silver and grey.

This is a beautiful fibre, not for the beginner as its lustre makes it quite slippy. Once combed you can hardly feel it it is so soft.

Sold in 50g bags.
