British yarn Loved and cared for on the Surrey, Hampshire borders Our Gotland yarn is from our own pedigree flock of Gotland Sheep. Each year we lamb rear and shear our Gotlands to produce some of the finest British wool on the market today. Susie shear our flocks to get the very best quality fleece which is then sent to Yorkshire for washing and down to the West Country for spinning by John Arbon. Finally winding its way back to the farm for hand dyeing by Emma. 176m approx, 100g approx, 18 x 22 stitches on 4.5mm needles
Gotland Double Knit Loved and cared for on the Surrey, Hampshire borders from our pedigree flock of Gotland sheep. All the sheep are shorn at Christmas by Susie, to obtain the fleece at its premium, then housed until the warmer weather. The wool is then washed in Yorkshire and spun in the West Country to produce a fine quality British Knitting yarn. Emma then hand dyes the skeins at the farm before labelling.
